Milk chocloate is solely a December thing for me, active frowning is my reaction if offered it at other times of year. December is supposed to be about tradition, advent traditions, Christmas traditions, perineum traditions - all normally family traditions, except that as far as this one is concerned, it´s a solemn and dignified family of one. Anyone else is welcome to join in if they fancy it. Quizzes are a big thing around this date too, aren’t they? Don´t tell me the quiz thing is just me ´cos there’s one coming along in a minute. Big Big Smiles by Wasuremono drew me down the quiz route when I started looking into the them and realised the pigeon hole I´d built for them - Australian Arcade Fire - was completely wrong. They are from Bradford On Avon. Maybe they hate Arcade Fire too, although the evidence suggest that’s pretty unlikely, where evidence equals music. I guess not everybody wants to sing local like Baxter Dury, Sleaford Mods, Fontaines DC or the Lovely Eggs, Why should they?
Anyway, Big Big Smile a great little tune with a kinky bassline and sly, chirpy drive. Totally quizworthy. And here it is, the Wasuremono December multiple choice quiz. Answers right at………..
